Volunteer
If you are interested in taking on a greater role in
parent programs we invite you to help in the following ways. The items
listed below are just a few examples of ways in which you can get
involved. Your participation would be greatly appreciated. If you
have questions or would like to get involved please send an email to parents@bellarmine.edu.
On Campus
- Volunteer to serve on a panel for SOAR, Discover Day,
or Crossroads Session
- Participate in campus sponsored events such as
Family Weekend and other Parent programs
- Organize or coordinate and event for parents to attend
- Volunteer to help out with an athletic event
- Contact other parents to encourage participation in
upcoming events
- Volunteer your services for events planned for
students
At Home
- Join the
Parent Association facebook page and become an active member of the
community
- Visit the webpage often and check out new articles,
resources, and programs
- Participate in the Parents Program Book Club, Rhodes'
Reads
- Contact Bellarmine University Admissions and ask for
specific volunteer opportunities in regards to sharing your experiences
with future BU families
- Write an article for the Parents Newsletter discussing
your experience or advice
- Volunteer to mail postcards, make phone calls, send
emails, etc. to your area, admissions will help with contact information
- Host a send off or get-together for new Bellarmine
students
