New Name, New Look, New Resources

Welcome (back) to Bellarmine University!

The Career Center and Internships offices have been combined and renamed Career Development. The new name reflects our commitment as educators of students and alumni to assist with personal assessment, career exploration, educational planning, leadership development, experiential learning, professional employment, and career advancement and transition. Read the descriptions below to learn about other new and improved resources.

Use our new career services management system, CollegeCentral, to search for job, internship and volunteer opportunities; submit online applications; register for events; schedule on-campus interviews; access our mentoring network; and more. For opportunities posted by employer prior to 9/1/09, you may also check current and historical listings in our old system.

Released in July, OptimalResume 2.0 offers enhanced features and a new user interface to help with resumes, cover letters, electronic portfolios, video resumes, skills profiles, professional websites and interview prep.

MyPlan offers assessments of your personality, interests, skills and values with specific recommendations and detailed information about ideal careers, majors and educational opportunities for students and alumni.

Primarily for Freshman Focus and other first-year groups and activities, TypeFocus offers two assessments and five reports related to personality type and college success.

Sponsored by the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the Direct Employers Association, NACElink provides access to internship and job listings posted by local, regional and national employers.
