Reale appointed as assistant dean for career services & experiential learning

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 15, 2008)—Bellarmine University announces the appointment of Todd Reale to the newly created position of assistant dean for career services and experiential learning. The announcement also signifies the unification of Bellarmine’s Career Center and the Office of Internships and Experiential Learning. This organizational change aligns with Bellarmine’s mission to develop within each student the intellectual, moral, ethical and professional competencies for successful living, work, leadership and service to others.

Reale has 16 years of higher education and business experience and joins Bellarmine after starting an independent educational and career consulting business in 2006. Prior to that, he worked at Vanderbilt University, the University of Florida and Emory University. He earned a bachelor of science in quantitative business analysis from Penn State University and an MBA in marketing from Emory University. He also has six years of corporate experience in project management, new product development, sales and information systems.

Reale will be responsible for the university’s career services and experiential learning programs. In addition to his leadership role, Reale will focus on internships, external relations, graduate and professional school advising, career assessment tests, marketing and technology. Ann Zeman will be responsible for career development, counseling, full-time employment opportunities, career fairs, campus recruiting and alumni relations.
