Information will be available on all graduate and second degree programs: Doctor of Nursing Practice, Ph.D. in Education & Social Change, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Business Administration (Weeknight, Weekend and Executive), Master of Arts in Communication, Master of Science in Analytics, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Teaching, Educational Specialist in Instructional Leadership & School Administration, Rank I Programs, Master of Arts in Spirituality, Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner, Education & Administration), Master of Health Science, Master of Science in Taxation, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science and Respiratory Therapy as well as the Accounting Certificate and RN/BSN program.

ARC GRE Prep Sessions

The ARC offers a free GRE prep course for current undergraduate and certain prospective students as long as space is available. The full course meets eight consecutive weeks and covers a different topic each week, but participants are not required to attend all eight meetings.

The first half of the course covers GRE logistics and one different topic each week for the verbal & writing portions:

  • August 28: What is the GRE? & Mini-Lesson on Approaching “Sentence Equivalence” Questions
  • September 4: You Fill-In the Blank(s): Approaching “Text Completion” Questions
  • September 11: Did You Get the Gist?: Approaching “Reading Comprehension” Questions
  • September 18: The Write Way?: Approaching the Writing Sections

The second half of the course covers one topic each week for the quantitative (math) portions:

  • September 25: Properties of Numbers (fractions, percentages, proportions)
  • October 2 : Algebra (solving equations, systems of equations, charts)
  • October 9: Geometry
  • October 16: Statistics & general strategies for quantitative questions

For each date, the course meets 11 a.m.- noon and 4:30-5:30 p.m. covering the same topic.
