Sara oversees the recruitment of the Bellarmine graduate and second degree programs. She has been with Bellarmine for over 9 years serving
in various roles such as Coordinator of Part-Time Undergraduate Recruitment, Associate Director of Enrollment Services, Associate Dean
of Admission and Senior Associate Dean of Admission. Currently, she meets with all students interested in the Executive Master of Business

Julie Armstrong-Binnix, M.Ed.
Graduate Admission Officer
Julie is responsible for the recruitment of students interested in the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Nursing Practice, the Master of
Science in Nursing, the Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program, the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy and the
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science. She has been with Bellarmine for over 9 years in various roles such as Academic
Advisor to freshmen and transfer Nursing students, and Nursing and Health Sciences Recruiter. Her husband, Jon, is a graduate of the

Theresa Klapheke
Graduate Admission Officer
Theresa is primarily involved in the admission process for students interested in the Master of Arts in Spirituality and all graduate programs offered through the Annsley Frazier Thornton School of Education (Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Arts in Education, Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership and School Administration and Rank I – Post Master’s programs). She has been with Bellarmine University since the fall of 1998 working with graduate admission and the School of Education. Theresa is a Bellarmine University alumna and currently serves on the Bellarmine University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Loretta Jerdan
Graduate Admission Assistant
Loretta has been with Bellarmine for 10 years. Loretta worked in both the Lansing School of Nursing and Health Sciences and the MBA Office in the Rubel School of Business before joining the Office of Graduate Admission. Loretta received her Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Bellarmine in May of 2009 and is on track to be a Bellarmine MBA graduate in December of 2010. Loretta currently provides support to the Office of Graduate Admission by processing admission files and assisting with events.
Turner Wathen
Graduate Admission Officer
Turner is responsible for the recruitment of students interested in the Weeknight and Weekend MBA, the Master of Communication, the Master of Science in Applied Information Technology, and the Accounting Certificate. After spending several years working in the hospitality industry, he has returned to the Louisville area and is excited about being a part of the Bellarmine community.
