Master of Science in Nursing (MSN Educator, MSN Administrator, Family Nurse Practitioner)
The Master of Science in Nursing at Bellarmine University prepares students for careers as highly skilled professionals in nursing education, nursing administration, or advanced nursing practice. Consistent with Bellarmine’s goal to prepare leaders for our society, graduate students in nursing will be able to effect change within health care.
The graduate program allows the student to select from four areas of concentration:
- Nursing Administration
- Nursing Education
- MSN/MBA Program, or
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
The Administration and Education tracks offer part-time weeknight and weekend programs that can be completed in as few as 30 months. We individualize practicum experiences to meet your educational and career goals. The typical student who is also working full-time enrolls in two courses per semester.
The Family Nurse Practitioner track can be completed in one year full-time or two years part-time. Core courses meet for a full day on Mondays and Tuesdays each semester. Students complete 720 hours of supervised clinical experience.
