Phillip
Wheeler and Jason Beck of “Your Home” decided to promote a mood of
rest and calm for the master bedroom. Upon entering this setting,
there is a warmth and variety in the mix of textures, painted
surfaces, natural wood tones, gilded accents and the occasional
spots of color.
The beauty of embroidered bed
linens and fine-grained woods were incorporated into the bedroom
design. Reproduction gilded and marble top bedside commodes as
well as the addition of 19th century painted French
chairs complete the room created in a mélange of styles.
In this space old and new coexist
seamlessly, unified by a subtle palette of gold and accented with
soothing shades of green. The crystal chandelier glimmers like
jewels against the faded bronze hand painted scroll and rosette
ceiling detail and pearl metallic brushed faux finish by
Louisville artist Carl White.
This sumptuous room bids an irresistible “Welcome” at the end of a
long day. |
