Apply for 2010-2011 financial aid online after January 1, 2010, at www.fafsa.gov.  A downloadable FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) worksheet will be available to complete.  The worksheet will also be available in the Office of Financial Aid.  Apply early to maximize available aid.  To be considered for Kentucky state programs, Kentucky residents must submit the FAFSA by March 15.

A completed tax return will make completing the FAFSA easier, but is not required.  Once you file your tax return, you must correct any income or tax information that may have changed your FAFSA.  Applications for aid are considered carefully every year for changes in financial need, and awards may be adjusted if the family financial resources increase or decrease markedly.  The Office of Financial Aid will consider requests for additional financial assistance from any student whose family encounters financial hardship.
