The ARC offers free tutoring to all Bellarmine students in many 100- and 200-level courses. A current schedule of tutoring sessions will be posted on the student intranet.  If you do not see a course listed, please contact Debbie Burgin, Tutor Coordinator, at dburgin@bellarmine.edu to inquire about the availability of tutoring

We're Hiring! Apply to Become a Tutor!
The ARC is currently hiring tutors for fall 2010. Any student wishing to apply must fill out the application form below and return it to Debbie Burgin (dburgin@bellarmine.edu) via email only, on or before August 27th, 2010. Recommendation forms from professors are no longer required; we will contact professors regarding your class performance.

Tutors hired for fall 2010 (along with any tutors hired after the fall 2009 training sessions ended--even those who had a "crash course"), must attend and complete a training session at the beginning of the fall semester. Students can attend training on either September 7th from 10:45-12:10 OR on September 8th from 6-7:30. Please read carefully the information (below) about the tutor training program!

Tutor Training Program
Beginning with the 2009-2010 academic year, the ARC instituted a training program for all incoming tutors.  This program will helps hone the tutors’ natural skills, encourages professional growth, and offers a high-quality learning experience for both the tutors and the tutees.  The training is mandatory, but the investment of time is minimal, and tutors are compensated (beyond standard payment) for their time.  Incoming tutors will all begin at Level I and proceed through the levels yearly.
