Women harriers place 10th at "Catholic Nationals" SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Sept. 19, 2008)--Bellarmine's women's cross country team finished 10th overall in the 35-team field competing at the 29th Annual National Catholic Championship hosted by the University of Notre Dame. The Knights were the highest-placing NCAA Division II team in the field.

The Knights were led by Meghan Shagena, whose time of 19:12 over the 5 kilometer course, was good for 38th place in the field of 287. Carissa Martin also had a top 50 finish with her time of 19:24.
