Field hockey goes 2-1 on Pennsylvania road trip LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 15, 2008)--The Bellarmine field hockey team returned to Louisville after going 2-1 on their road trip in Pennsylvania, where they defeated Slippery Rock and Seton Hill and lost to the No.1-ranked Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Bellarmine's record now stands at 7-10.

On Tuesday, the Knights beat Seton Hill University 2-1 in overtime. Ellen West scored the game winner on an assist from Hannah McNally just 2:53 into the overtime or "sudden victory" period.

Cassi Dalyrmple scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime to help the Knights win 3-2 at "The Rock." Bellarmine outshot Slippery Rock 30-10 for the game.

The Knights ran into a buzz saw in taking on the nation's No. 1-ranked team on their home turf. The Crimson Hawks outshot Bellarmine 36-2 in getting the shutout victory.

The Knights will hold senior day on Sunday when they host WIttenberg University at 6 p.m. in Owsley B. Frazier Stadium, and the season finale will be Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at home against Lindenwood University.
