Beckman, Schoeff earn All-GLVC honors INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 13, 2008) - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its all-conference volleyball team, and among the honorees were Bellarmine's Emily Beckman and Caryn Schoeff.

Beckman, a sophomore out of Louisville Male High School, was named to the nine-person All-GLVC First Team as an outside hitter. Among her most impressive accomplishments this year were leading the GLVC in both kills per game and points per game. Playing in 92 games, or sets, the sophomore recorded 340 kills, 24 service aces, nine solo blocks, and 24 block assists.

Schoeff, a junior from Wabash, Ind. (Southwood, H.S.), made third team All-GLVC as a setter. She was sixth in the conference in assists per game with a 9.67 average.

Bellarmine is currently preparing for the GLVC tournament. Their first round match will be played Friday at 2:30 p.m. (CST) in Romeoville, Ill., against the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
