Women to face NKU in first round of GLVC tourney
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 28, 2009) -- The Bellarmine University women's basketball team will face Northern Kentucky University in the first round of the GLVC tournament to be held in Quuincy, Ill.

The Knights, who claimed a wildcard spot in the tourney while finishing fifth in the East division, will fill the #4 spot in the West for the sake of seeding.

Bellarmine's game against Northern (#1 in the East) will be played at noon on Fri., March 6. The two teams will be playing each other for the second time in eight days.
