DuPlessis finishes 21st at NCAA East Regional
BELLE VERNON, Pa. (May 5, 2009)--Bellarmine University's Sarah DuPlessis completed play at the NCAA Division II East Regional Golf Championship at Cedarbrook Golf Club's "Gold Course" and finished in the top half of the field.

The junior from Elizabethtown finished 21st in the 49-player field. DuPlessis shot rounds of 83, 80 and 83.

Grand Valley State University won the team competition and advances to the national championship with runner-up Ferris State and third place finisher University of Indianapolis. Qualifying as individuals were Simone DeSouza of University of California (Pa.), Lyndsey Bevill of Northern Kentucky University, and Dianne Luke, also of California (Pa.).
