Herrick finishes 43rd at NCAA Championships
BLAINE, Wash. (May 22, 2009)--Bellarmine University's Brooks Herrick shot a final round 76 to finish with a 302 total at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship at Blaine, Wash., today.
Herrick, a junior from Prestonsburg, Ky., shot three rounds of 76 to go with his 74 yesterday to complete the championship at 18-over par at the Loomis Trail Golf Club's par 71 layout. Herrick's 302 placed him in a tie for 43rd in the field of 107.
Herrick qualified for the national championship as an individual by finishing as the top player not a team advancing to the championship at the "super regional" held earlier this month at Grand Valley State University.
