Brown Scholars Admission Procedures
All students who meet Bellarmine's scholarship criteria
are encouraged to apply for admission to the Brown Scholars Leadership
Program.
In addition to the minimum GPA (3.0) and
ACT score (25) requirements,
students are asked to submit a resume detailing their extracurricular
activities.
Applicants must also write an essay addressing a topic
related to the program's goals.
A committee meets to read all applicants' submissions and
rank them appropriately. Between 25 and 30 students are then invited
to join the program each year.
Once admitted to the program, Brown Scholars are expected
to maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate good citizenship in both the
Bellarmine and local communities.
