The Accounting Department annually offers approximately thirty scholarships of $500 to $1,500 to outstanding sophomore, junior, and senior students. Public accounting firms, corporations, accounting professionals, and faculty have donated the funds for these scholarships. These scholarships are in addition to those awarded by the financial aid office.
Bellarmine also offers a High School Student Accounting Scholarship Program. A limited number of competitive academic based scholarships are annually awarded for classes to be taken during the summer session following your senior and/or junior year in high school. The scholarship is for two courses--six semester credits total. Students take Acct. 101 - Financial Principles of Accounting and one other 100 level course. The scholarship is valued at approximately $2,500.
