All of the Biology majors at Bellarmine University do independent research - either in labs of the Biology faculty on campus or with researchers at places like the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, Texas A&M, University of Alabama, etc.
An important part of research is communication of results to the scientific community. Our students present posters or talks about their research at various venues including the annual Bellarmine Undergraduate Research Celebration, the Butler University Undergraduate Research Conference and the Kentucky Academy of Science. Some even attend national scientific conferences to talk about their research.
