Play Competition

The 2nd International Festival of New 10-minute plays has selected its final 8 play for production. Each playwright will received a $50 prize while the overall winner will received a $100 prize. On top of that, the audience will chose its own favorite and the winner will split $100 between the playwright and the director.

Production of the plays will be March 28, 29, 30 and 31, 20112 in the Blakcbox Theater.

  7. A Peaceful Landscape by Jeffrey H. Matsuura
  8. Venice by David Vardeman from Portland, ME

And the Overall winner is: 2 + 1 = Murder by C.J. Ehrlich

The Audience Choice Award winner is: In for a Penny, In for a Pound by Rob Kingsolver, Directed by Carol Stewart and featuring Ray Grimes, Emily Strobel, Jaime Marsh, and Victoria Reibel.
