Parish Nursing

The Parish Nurse Preparation Course is based on curriculum developed through The International Parish Nurse Resource Center, in consultation with the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses Association Credentialing Center. The course consists of 16 modules, which are in four units: Spirituality, Professionalism, Wholistic Health and Community.

  • Instructor: Margaret Miller, Ph.D. RN, is a Professor Emeritus of Nursing. She has extensive experience in Parish Nursing, as well as beginning Health Ministries in Congregations in the Episcopal Diocese of KY.

This program has been approved for 34 contact hours by Bellarmine University KBN Provider #3-00031-12-12-33-2-2-2. Kentucky Board of Nursing approval of an individual provider does not constitute endorsement of program content. For successful completion the participant must attend the program in its entirety.
