School of Communication
The School of Communication is the hub of student media and culture at Bellarmine University. Our students enjoy small class sizes led by faculty mentors who are communication scholars and multimedia creators. With an on-campus radio station a media production suite, and a student newspaper our majors have many opportunities for hands-on learning. Students may find themselves reporting from the sidelines during a national championship game, shooting video shorts around the lively and eclectic Highlands neighborhood or interviewing nationally renowned scholars and entertainers for the campus newspaper. Our students intern with some of the top public, private and nonprofit organizations in Louisville, including Brown Forman, Baptist Hospital, Louisville Science Center, American Red Cross, Kentucky Derby Festival… and many more. There’s never been a more exciting time to study Communication, and Bellarmine University has the culture to prove it!
