The expansion of Kosters and the Bellarmine Activities Center (which also houses the School of Communications) has begun and should be complete by August 2010 for the 2010-2011 academic year. This expansion includes an all new Kosters kitchen, servery and dining hall, addition of offices and classrooms for the School of Communication, and much-needed storage. This renovation project also includes the installation of a geothermal field which will serve HVAC for BAC, Wyatt, Norton Fine Arts and Alumni Hall, and a rain water recovery system for waste removal in the Bellarmine Activities Center.
Work continues on Siena Quarto, BU’s newest residence hall, and will be completed in time for the 2010-2011 academic year. Construction begins on Siena Terzo in May of 2010.
