A completed tax return will make completing the FAFSA easier, but is not required. Once you file your tax return, you must correct any income or tax information that may have changed your FAFSA. Applications for aid are considered carefully every year for changes in financial need, and awards may be adjusted if the family financial resources increase or decrease markedly. The Office of Financial Aid will consider requests for additional financial assistance from any student whose family encounters financial hardship.
A continuing student applicant must meet the minimum Satisfactory Academic Progress standards at the end of the spring semester to maintain financial aid eligibility for the next academic year.
