  Jnuior Year Planning for Graduate School  

Junior Year:

1. Students should begin to investigate graduate programs and professional schools.

2. Students should speak to Career Advisors and professors about possible career directions and relevant graduate degree programs.

3. Students should shadow professionals within their intended fields of work to get insight into the field.

4. Students should join pre-professional organizations on campus, such as the Pre-Law Society or the Pre-Physical Therapy Club.

5. Students should research programs and check on admission requirements, graduate test requirements and prerequisite coursework.

6. Students should plan to take appropriate graduate school exam: GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, GRE, DAT. Prep courses for these exams are highly recommended.

7. Students (and parents) should budget for exams and application fees: GRE $150; MCAT $ $225; DAT $205; LSAT $132 + LSDAS $121; PCAT $125. All fees subject to change.

8. Students should plan campus visits for summer.
