Bellarmine Center for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (BCTEL)
The Bellarmine Center for Teaching Excellence and Leadership (BCTEL) is the visible embodiment of the vision of the Annsley Frazier Thornton School of Education faculty and staff. BCTEL is a place where teachers, professors, and educators of all types meet to engage in dialog, renew their personal commitments to learn, grow in community, and gain skills to further the success for the children of Kentuckiana and the world. Open to educators from any setting, BCTEL offerings vary annually but typically include new teacher mentoring, teacher renewal activities, and other training designed to meet the needs of local teachers and schools.
We are sponsoring several free workshops and seminars all taught by Bellarmine professors designed to meet the needs and interests of educators and community members. Dates and times are listed below and light refreshments are included. For more information or to sign up for a workshop, call Mary Calhoun at 502.272.8191 or respond by email mcalhoun@bellarmine.edu.
