Christy D. McGee, Ed.D.

Christy D. McGee, Ed.D. (email) taught elementary school before beginning her career in higher education. Before coming to Bellarmine in 2005, she taught at the University of Louisville, Indiana University Southeast, and the University of Arkansas. Her research interests involve children at risk for failure, teacher education reform, student empowerment, and gifted students. She is a national consultant in the process of differentiated instruction. An active member of the National Association for Gifted Children, she served as chair of the division of Curriculum and Instruction, and as a Parent Advisory Committee member.
