MATH 102 Spring 2007
Group Project, due Thursday April 26
Your group is to write a final exam for this course. It should be written at the level of the course, as if you and your peers were the students taking the exam.
Here are some guidelines.
- Include at least ten questions, but not too many.
- Write a comprehensive exam, with topics chosen from the entire semester. (This does not mean that every individual topic must be included but every chapter must be represented.)
- Focus on major ideas.
- Include questions that test the students' knowledge of basic facts and terminology. Label these.
- Include questions that apply the concepts (problem-solving questions). Label these.
- Include questions that require the students to explain concepts and solutions. Label these.
- Label each question as being appropriate for a group or for an individual. Explain briefly why you chose that label.
