The conduct of scholarship exists along several parallel tracks with twin goals -- discovery and dissemination.
At the institutions I have been part of, I have been asked to pursue research that involves junior members of the faculty, as well as cross disiplinary lines, and have an audience of other teachers. The result, as evident in my Curriculum Vitae, is a broad-based body of work, spanning journals, national and regional proceedings, pedogogical volumes, and other venues.
