Department of Physics offers a
number of courses to service the needs of students. In offering
these courses to a variety of science and non science majors our aims and
objectives are:

- To promote
scientific knowledge, critical thinking skills, and scientific
comprehension.

- To provide
physics knowledge to students graduating in chemistry, biology, health
sciences, computer science and computer engineering.

- To provide
physics and astronomy knowledge to non-science majors in a
liberal arts background.

- To prepare the
students for various competitive exams such as MCAT
For science students we also offer a Minor in Physics
