The AmeriCorps is now offering education awards to pay for college, graduate school, vocational school, or to pay off student loans.
REQUIREMENTS: Selected individuals must dedicate one year of service to their communities. Some examples of this service include: tutoring children, building homes, helping fight wildfires, and restoring state parks.
AWARD AMOUNT: All selected individuals will receive a $4,725 education award and a modest living allowance and health insurance.
