U.S. Army Reserve Nursing Program

The U.S. Army Reserve Nursing program provides eligible individuals the means to obtain a BSN, become a registered nurse (RN) and accept a commission as an officer in the U.S. Army.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be a junior or senior nursing student enrolled full-time in a BSN program, have a minimum GPA of 3.2 (waiverable), have no less than six months or no more than 24 months until BSN completion, be a U.S. citizen and meet the moral and physical qualifications to become an Army Officer. Juniors who enroll in the program will serve in an army hospital for five years and seniors who enroll will serve in an army hospital for four years.
AWARD AMOUNT: The program offers a $10,000 bonus, $5,000 upon acceptance of enrollment documents, $5,000 at the start of senior year for students in the program for two years or upon graduation for students in the program of one year, a monthly stipend of $1,000.
