John Keys Scholarship Fund

The John Keys Scholarship Fund provides educational assistance grants to honorably discharged U.S. Armed Services veterans who are legal residents of Kentucky and to members of the Son of The American Legion. The John Keys Scholarship was established in 1988 and has awarded more than 60 scholarship grants since 1995. The scholarship is named in honor of John H. Keys of Covington, Kentucky, a Korean War veteran and American Legion member who died of cancer in 1990. REQUIREMENTS : One of the following requirements must be met: (1) Any honorable discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces, without consideration for period of length of service, who is a legal resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky OR (2) Any member of the Kentucky Sons of The American Legion, whose dues for the current membership year are paid. AWARD AMOUNTS :Varies APPLICATION :There is more information and an application to fill out for the scholarship in the Financial Aid Office located on the second floor of Horrigan Hall.
