John Keys Kentucky Sons of the American Legion Scholarship

The Sons of The American Legion is an affiliated organization of the American Legion. This non-profit, patriotic service organization is comprised of nearly 400,000 direct male descendents of Legionnaires, as well as direct males descendents of deceased veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who served honorably during the Legion eligibility period in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, or Persian Gulf War.
The Kentucky S.A.L. named this scholarship in honor of John Keys for his tribute of untiring devotion and years of service to The American Legion Family.
REQUIREMENTS :To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and a legal resident of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, OR a member of the Kentucky Sons of the American Legion whose dues for the current membership year are paid. The applicant must, also, be enrolled in any post-secondary school in Kentucky or bordering state.
