Greater Louisville Medical Society Alliance Health Career Grants & the Samantha Ann McDonald Scholarship

The Greater Louisville Medical Society Alliance is pleased to announce that it will once again be awarding a grant to students currently enrolled into a nursing program or other allied health related fields. With the exception to the Bellarmine Accelerated Program, no first year grants will be rewarded. The Samantha Ann McDonald Scholarship will also be available. Samantha Ann McDonald was a beautiful, spirited 3 year old girl who recently went home to be with Jesus on May 2,2006. The scholarship is in memory of Samantha.

REQUIREMENTS :Students applying must be residing in Kentucky and enrolled in participating in an undergraduate registered nursing program or allied health related field in a local area school. No first year grants will be awarded due to the Accelerated Programs. Part time students must be taking at least nine (9) hours.

AWARD AMOUNTS :$1000

APPLICATION :More information and an application can be obtained from the Financial Aid Office in Horrigan Hall.
