Questions about Inauguration Ceremony

When, where and how long is the Inauguration Ceremony?

  • Friday, October 27, at 2 p.m. (Doors open at 1:15 p.m.)
  • Bellarmine University’s Knights Hall (building 21 on the campus map).
  • The ceremony lasts approximately 2 hours. 

Is a ticket or reservation required for the Inauguration Ceremony?
No; all are welcome!

What is the attire for Inauguration?
Business attire is typically worn at this special occasion.

Where should I park for Inauguration? 
There will be signs directing you to guest parking in:

  • L3 Alumni Lot (highlighted pink on the map), near Knights Hall and 
  • L1 Bellarmine Lot behind the SuRF Center (highlighted yellow on the map).

Is handicapped parking available for Inauguration? 
Yes. It is located on the right side of Knights Hall as you face the building. If you need special assistance, please call 502.272.7336.

Questions about Mass

When and where is Mass?

  • Friday, October 27, at 10 a.m.
  • St. Agnes Church, 1920 Newburg Road

Where should I park for Mass?
Parking is available at St. Agnes Church. Overflow parking and shuttle service is available in Bellarmine’s L13 East Lot (highlighted blue on map). After Mass, you may wish to move your car to the Inauguration Ceremony guest parking locations on the main campus.

Is there handicapped parking at the church?
Yes, handicapped parking is located on the side of the church.

Questions about Community Lunch and Tours

Who is invited to the Community Lunch on Friday, prior to the Inauguration Ceremony?
All are welcome to join us for lunch on Friday, October 27, after Mass and prior to the Inauguration Ceremony. Lunch will be available beginning at 11 a.m. for $8 per person in the University Dining Hall, located in the George G. Brown Center (building 5c on the campus map).

Are campus tours available?
Guided tours are available at 11:30 a.m. for McGowan Hall, the university’s new 47,300-square-foot campus center and home to Admissions, Campus Ministry, Career Services, the Rubel School of Business, our new Institute for Advanced Analytics and multipurpose classrooms.
