In order to insure a successful and safe study abroad experience, the Bellarmine International Programs Office (IPO) requires that the following steps be taken as part of the study abroad application process.

• Bellarmine non refundable Summer Study Abroad Fee of $50 due upon submission of the application
• Copy of Passport
• Bellarmine Release Agreement & Contact Forms
• Academic Course Approval Form
• Scholarship

CC-CS Summer Study Abroad Application Process

For Bellarmine University:
In order to be approved to participate in a BU study abroad program, you will need to complete the following forms for Bellarmine and bring them into the International Programs Office (Miles Hall 146-149).
• The Bellarmine Study Abroad Application (form online)
• A letter of recommendation from a Bellarmine Faculty member (This should be sent to the International Programs Office, Miles Hall 146-149)
• The Bellarmine Release Agreement and Emergency Contact Forms (form online)
• Bellarmine encourages all students to apply for study abroad scholarships.

Please feel free to set up an appointment with the study abroad advisor to discuss your scholarship options. Most summer scholarship deadlines are in mid February and early March. All forms listed above must be turned in PRIOR TO the CC-CS March 15th program application deadline. Please contact the Study Abroad Advisor (Erica Ward 272-8423) if you have questions about the application process.

For CC-CS:

• You will need to fill out the CC-CS application, www.studyinspain.org print it out, and bring it to the IPO (Miles Hall 111) for approval and signature.

• You will need to attach a program deposit to your application. This should be in the form of a check or money order made out to CC-CS.

After acceptance into a CC-CS program and prior to departure:

• CC-CS Checklist  (this should be the same form & link as for KIIS & CCSA)
• Pre-departure Orientation Form

You must attend a MANDATORY pre-departure meeting for all Bellarmine CC-CS participants. This will be held on the Bellarmine campus in April. The IPO will contact you with the location, date and time.
