Our Mission:
Rooted in the Catholic liberal arts tradition, the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program’s Service Learning Clinic offers students the opportunity to provide care with integrity and sensitivity to the surrounding community. Professional development, clinical application, and community service are accomplished through mentoring, cooperative learning and intellectual reflection.
The Service Learning Clinic embodies the Core Values defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and follows the APTA Code of Ethics. The Bellarmine University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program supports Vision 2020, which will promote a healthcare environment in which consumers will have direct access to physical therapy services. In addition, Vision 2020 will allow Doctors of Physical Therapy to practice autonomously.
Special Thanks to Mr. Hobbs:
We wish to extend a special thank you to Mike Hobbs for his recent generous contribution to the SLC.
