Introduction to Library Web SiteBellarmine University
W.L. Lyons Brown Library Online Resource
Fall 2010
Library databases can be accessed from your Home Computer! You will need to know your Bellarmine network user ID and password for most databases to gain access.
Connect to the Bellarmine University Library
Once there you will find the resources listed below.

You will be able to search for materials (books, videos, CDs) by using the Library Quick Search box. You do not need your user ID and Password for this search. The keyword dropdown box gives you the option of searching by author or title as well.

Some highlights of the above section include:
Databases A to Z will connect you with our many periodical databases. These databases give you access to many magazine and journal articles that you will not likely find on an open internet search. Because these databases are password protected, you will be prompted for your Bellarmine network ID and password to gain access.
Databases by Subject groups the periodical databases into subject categories.
Electronic Journal Finderallows you to search by title for full-text periodical titles that the library has in electronic format.
Reference Resources connects you with various encyclopedias and other types of resources that help you get started on a research project. There are many subject-specific encylopedias that will give you background information and will serve as a foundation for further research.
Ebrary is a database of nearly 40,000 electronic books.
