Kembrew McLeod

Kembrew McLeod, an American journalist, artist, activist and professor of Communication Studies at the University of Iowa was the guest speaker at the Public Relations Society of America, Louisville Chapter's annual ethics luncheon hosted by the Institute in September 2009. In addition, McLeod debuted his movie "Copyright Criminals" at the annual Idea Festival co-sponsored by the Institute.

A week before his appearance in Louisville at the Idea Festival the movie was debuted at the Toronto Film Festival.

McLeod is also considered a media prankster who once filed an application to registered the phrase "Freedom of Expression."
