Bellarmine graduates are leaders in their fields, from education, business and accounting to law, spiritual service and medicine. This year, the Bellarmine University Alumni Association will honor seven award recipients who have distinguished themselves through professional accomplishments, community service and demonstration of attitudes consistent with Bellarmine’s Catholic identity and the inclusive Thomas Merton spirit.
The annual Alumni Association Awards Dinner will be held on Saturday, November 15 in the Amelia Brown Frazier Convocation Hall on Bellarmine University's campus. The cost is $40 per person or a discounted rate of $240 per table of eight. A cocktail reception begins at 5:45 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.

Alumnus of the Year: Creighton Mershon ’63
Retired general counsel for BellSouth KY Operations. Past chair of the Bellarmine University Board of Overseers and current member.
Scarlet & Silver Society Inductee: Don Gossman ’68
Recently retired VP of business development at Quadrant Financial. Lifelong Bellarmine supporter. Past chair of the Bellarmine University Board of Overseers and current member.
Monsignor Horrigan Distinguished Service Award: Dr. Tom Bennett
35 years of distinguished service to Bellarmine as a biology department faculty member, former chair of the department and multiple faculty governance chair positions. Gallery of Distinguished Graduates:
