Purpose
Check-in Central is a one-stop check-in process for Residents and Commuters. During the check-in process, student’s will receive check-in materials for the halls, pick up KNIGHTLIFE on-campus orientation packet, register for a parking permit, make their student ID , receive a TB shot by our Campus Nurse, if needed, and also have an opportunity to speak with the Bursar and Financial Aid offices. It is our goal to provide these essential services in one location to assist students and parents in their transition to the University. Check-in Central is the official student and parent welcome to Bellarmine University. We want to begin the semester by building a strong and positive community that enhances every student’s experience at BU.
Residential Students
Residential students check-in at 4 different times based on their last name:
- A-F: 9-11 a.m.
- G-K: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- L-Q: 1-3 p.m.
- R-Z: 3-5 p.m.
Commuter Students
Commuter students check-in at 2 different times based on their last name:
- A-M: 3:30-4:15 p.m.
- N-Z: 4:15-5 p.m.

Following Check-in Central, at 5 p.m. students and their families can join together in the Quad for a picnic and students can sign the matriculation book.
