The Department of Public Safety:
- Patrols and inspects campus facilities and grounds 24 hours, 7 days a week
- Provides security escort services to students, faculty and staff
- Serves as the liaison with local police agencies and fire departments
- Administers CPR when needed
- Monitors video surveillance system
- Secures lost & found items
- Provides locking and unlocking services for buildings
- Provides security awareness training
- Provides workplace violence training
- Maintains database of incident reports
