1960s Sister Annalita Lancaster UC ’65, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph (Ky.), is celebrating the 70th anniversary of her religious profession this year. A native of Flaherty, Ky., she earned a bachelor of arts in history from Ursuline College (now Bellarmine) before earning a master’s degree from Spalding University. Sister Annalita was major superior of the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph from 1972-80. Since retiring in 2005, she has been an archive assistant at the Motherhouse. Peter Zemelka ’77 published a book review on “Don’t Let Your Heart ATTACK,” by K.H. Sheikh, via Amazon books. The book is a serious study on how to avoid heart disease written by a distinguished cardiologist with more than 30 years’ experience. Dr. Sheikh, who practices at Cape Canaveral (Fla.) Hospital, was the attending physician for Pete’s mom, Magda Zemelka (B.A. Languages, ’72), and his dad, Stan Zemelka (professor emeritus in Economics who was on the Bellarmine faculty from 1958-89), both of whom had heart disease and bypass surgery. Pete is a family caregiver, a Coast Guard veteran and a retired aerospace contractor who lives in Cape Canaveral. 1980s Linda Mitchell ’87 MBA is a greatgrandmother! Braelynn Michelle Graham was born Feb. 13, 2013. 1990s Jay Ebelhar ’97 was elected shareholder at the Baker Donelson law firm in May. Working in the firm’s Memphis office, he concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law and financial services. A 2003 graduate of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis, he is a member of the Memphis, Tennessee and American Bar Associations and a member of the board of directors at Special Kids & Families, a non-profit organization that provides familycentered programs and services for children with special needs. Trisha Hamilton-Cooper ’99, an art and photography teacher at Eastern High School, is the most recent recipient of the WHAS-TV Excellence in Classroom and Educational Leadership (ExCEL) Award. 2000s Steve ’01 and Lindsay ’05 Brown are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth.
