My favorite Compiled by Carla Carlton intraMUral sPort The national champion basketball team, Division I lacrosse program and new swim teams might get more attention, but Bellarmine’s Intramural Sports Program actually draws more participation – nearly 600 students in the fall semester playing on 169 teams, a record, in sports ranging from flag football to Ping Pong to Wiffleball. And then there is mud volleyball, by far the most popular intramural activity at Bellarmine. More than 330 people on 45 teams got their hands dirty – and their faces, and their feet, and their hair – at the Sept. 7 tournament. Below are some of the other responses we received when we asked our readers about their favorite intramural experiences.
