May Commencement
Saturday, May 12 in Knights Hall Cap and Gown
If you are unable to attend the Graduation Fair in March, apparel will be available for pick up at the Bellarmine Bookstore the week prior to graduation during regular business hours. Rehearsal
Wednesday, May 9 at 5:30 p.m. in Knights Hall. Graduates report to Knights Hall to go through name pronunciation, where you will sit, how to wear the hood and the order of Commencement. You do not need to bring your cap & gown to the rehearsal. Students graduating with honors will receive their medallion at the rehearsal.
Alumni Welcome
Join us for a celebration as you will be welcomed into the Alumni Association! Held immediately following graduation practice, there will be food, drinks, music, great alumni giveaways, and a champagne toast. The Executive Director of our National Alumni Association, Peter Kremer ‘02, will welcome you and tell you about all the great benefits and services you are offered as an alumnus/a of Bellarmine University.
Commencement
Students will line up in the Norton Health Sciences Center and Pasteur Hall. All students must check in and be in line by 11 a.m.
Faculty/Staff robe and assemble in Wyatt Hall.
The procession begins at 11:40 a.m. and Commencement begins at 12:00 p.m.
Many people ask how long commencement lasts. The average for May is about 2 1/2 hours.
Tickets are not required for the May Commencement. Except for reserved seating for graduates, faculty, and governing boards all seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are advised to arrive no later than 11:30 a.m.
