Q. How do I request extra tickets for May graduation?
A. Come to the Graduation Fair to put your name on the list for extra tickets or contact Joyce Stephenson at 452-8304 or at jstephenson@bellarmine.edu. You will need to provide information about the number of additional tickets needed and your name will be placed on the list for tickets. Extra ticket requests are taken up to two weeks prior to graduation. Once the number of tickets required for all participating students is determined, tickets are distributed to those on the list based on the number of excess tickets available.
Q. When and where do I pick up tickets for May graduation?
A. Tickets will be available for pick-up during Senior Week in CC-231.
Q. How do I get seating for a family member in a wheelchair?
A. Contact the Disability Services Coordinator at 452-8480 to reserve seating.
Q. I have a cap and gown from my undergraduate degree; can I wear that instead of ordering new for my masters?
A. The graduation apparel for each degree level is slightly different. In order to have consistency in appearance for our graduates and to insure that all students have the apparel appropriate to the degree they are receiving, students must order through the Graduation Fair, the Bellarmine Bookstore or the Balfour website. The cost of the apparel is included in the graduation fee.
Q. Can we take pictures at Graduation?
A.
Because increased activity near the stage area impedes the flow of commencement, guests will not be allowed to approach the stage to take photographs. Professional photographers will be taking each graduate’s photograph as he/she receives his/her diploma. These will be available for review and purchase online at www.orderyourphoto.com. Guests are welcome to take pictures from their seats. Students will also have an opportunity to have our professional photographer take their photo in graduation cap and gown at the Graduation Fair.
