Mass Information
Mass is celebrated on Sunday
evenings in the Our Lady of the Woods Chapel at 6:00 p.m. and at noon
on Holy Days. Mass for students, faculty, and staff is celebrated
during the academic year each Sunday at 6 p.m., when classes are in
session. Holy Day Masses, prayer services, and other special liturgies
are scheduled to include alumni, trustees, families, and visitors.
Please contact the Office of Campus Ministry (502.272.8051) for details
about the current semester schedule.
Students serve as ministers for all campus liturgies. To enroll in the
next training session to become a Reader, Server, or Minister of
Communion or Hospitality, please contact the Director of Campus
Ministry.
There are many locations in the Highlands and Louisville area for
worship services of all faiths. The Office maintains a current
directory with contact information for churches, temples, synagogues,
and mosques. Please visit us in Horrigan Hall 113, for more
information.
The Office of Campus Ministry coordinates publicity surrounding
faith-based initiatives by working with the Campus Ministry Council.
It is composed of representatives from each of the faith-based groups,
from the Campus Ministry Houses, and faculty. A liaison with each of
the main-line Protestant faiths in the Highlands (campus neighborhood)
also sits on the CMCouncil. The Council meets twice each semester.
There are currently five faith-based organizations on campus:
- Catholic Students Association
- Hillel Foundation for Jewish Campus Life
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes
- InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
- Muslims Students at Prayer
