Internships by Major

Students may earn up to three credits for any one internship experience. Internship credit is also available as an elective outside the major with approval of the respective academic department. Students may complete up to six internship credits within their major and up to six credits outside of their major, for a total of 12 internship credits. One exception to this limitation is Clinical Laboratory Science, which requires at least eight and up to 14 credits for its required clinical internship. Arts Administration	AA 444/445 required; prerequisite – junior or senior status
Biochemistry & Molecular Biology	No internship credit course through the major, but available as electives through other majors
Biology	BIOL 444/445 offered as electives; prerequisite – junior or senior status
Business Administration	BA 444 (Internship Class) – required; prerequisite – sophomore status and Communications 205; semester abroad satisfies internship requirement BA 445 (International Experience) – offered as elective; held in a foreign country each summer
