What to Bring For Your Appointment:
If you have a resume you are updating, bring it with you.
If this is your first resume, or you are starting over, print out the
Resume Worksheets and complete them before your appointment. This will save on time.
If
you would like more information on writing a resume, you can drop by the Career
Center and pick up a copy of our Resume and Cover Letter Booklet(31 pages), or just click on the
link to view it on screen. Don't print a copy though -- we have plenty.
Resume
Samples for Internships, Part-Time & Summer Jobs:
There
are two samples created in Microsoft Word to guide you in the preparation of
your resume. If you live on campus, but would also like to include your
home address, then you'll need the Campus
and Home Address Sample. Otherwise, you can choose the Home
Address Sample. We also have available an advanced resume, suitable for seniors and graduates. Sections to personalize are indicated by red text. You can find this resume here: Advanced Resume. Once you've accessed the appropriate sample, just
make the necessary changes and save to your harddrive or disk. If you
need more help in preparing your resume for an internship position, part-time,
or summer job contact Dr. Fred Ehrman, Director of Internships, at (502)452-8151,
or email him at fehrman@bellarmine.edu.
