Disability Services works primarily with students with permanent or ongoing disabilities but also serves students with a wide variety of temporary disabilities due to accident, illness, hospitalization, surgery, or other situations. Students with temporary disabilities may be referred to Disability Services, or they may make self-referrals by contacting our office at 502.452.8480 or rpurdy@bellarmine.edu. In addition, students who anticipate being away from campus because of a scheduled surgery or hospitalization may find it helpful to register with Disability Services as a type of "insurance policy" in order to make arrangements for potential assistance which may be needed upon their return to campus.
